Highschool Senior Scholarship
This scholarship supports graduating high school seniors pursuing careers in healthcare and aiming to serve Kay County or neighboring communities long-term. Successful applicants typically receive a $500 award. Funds are disbursed directly to the student's chosen institution's Bursar's office once we verify proof of enrollment. The Foundation reserves the right to publicize winners through local news outlets and digital platforms. While this is a single-year grant, we offer various other financial aid opportunities for students who have finished their first college semester. Comprehensive details regarding additional funding are found on the CHF website. All final decisions remain at the exclusive discretion of our Scholarship Committee.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Applicants must be graduating seniors who either attend a high school within Kay County or maintain a primary residence there.
2. Candidates must enroll in an accredited program to earn a degree, license, or certification within a healthcare-related discipline.
3. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required, alongside an SAT score in the top 50th percentile or an ACT composite score of at least 21.
4. Submissions must include a completed application form, a current high school transcript, and one formal letter of recommendation from an educator or civic leader.
